Launching CERF’s Scholarship Program
CERF launched its scholarship program to help address the cost of education in Samoa, where families are responsible for paying school tuition from elementary through high school.
This initiative marked a major step toward reducing financial barriers and expanding educational opportunities for students and families across the country.
Elementary School Scholarships
CERF funded 41 scholarships for students attending nine elementary schools throughout Samoa, including:
- Faleasi’u Elementary School
- Fasito’outa Elementary School
- Lalomanu Elementary School
- Lepea Elementary School
- Liahona Elementary School
- Moata’a Elementary School
- Pesega Fou Elementary School
- Sauniatu Elementary School
- Vaivase Elementary School
High School Scholarship Support
CERF also extended scholarship assistance to students attending four high schools:
- CCWS
- Leulumoega College
- Samoa College
- Vaimauga College
By helping cover educational expenses, the scholarship program gave students greater opportunities to remain in school, continue their studies, and pursue their future goals with confidence.
